A private terrace, accessed directly from the house, enjoys views over the
valley, and is shaded by a vast walnut tree that permits al fresco eating
even when the sun is at its very highest. The terrace is completely private
and is not overlooked by any other apartment. A door and stairs lead up to
the ground floor.

An enormous entrance hall with stairs to the first floor; vast fully fitted
kitchen (fridge, freezer, dishwasher) with views over the terrace;
dining/sitting room with one entire wall given over to the original open
fireplace plus traditional wood-burning oven. This room enjoys views over
the valley.

FIRST FLOOR
Three double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms (two hill views and one valley
view) and a further two double bedrooms (one hill view and one valley view).
Separate bathroom with shower. Two of the bedrooms can be used as twins, and
two can be used as triple rooms, so Casa Il Focolare can accommodate up to
13 guests.

| The house has just been completely restored to its former glory; the floors
are tiled in traditional terracotta, the walls are Tuscan whitewash, and the
fittings and furnishings are by local artisans (some pieces are original
1800's). |
